Why is the listing in https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/aks/supported-kubernetes-versions?tabs=azure-cli#aks-kubernetes-release-calendar saying that e.g. 1.34 had a general availability in November 2025, while Azure Updates says January 2026 (https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/updates/?id=548114)? Shouldn't that be in sync? (I am always using AKS Release status page anyway that gives me better details, but I find this difference between the documentation and Azure updates a bit confusing).

The discrepancy between the general availability (GA) date listed in the AKS documentation and the date mentioned in Azure Updates may arise from different release schedules or communication timelines. The AKS documentation typically provides a roadmap based on planned release dates, while Azure Updates may reflect actual release dates or announcements that can vary due to various factors such as testing, feedback, or other operational considerations.

For the most accurate and up-to-date information, it is advisable to refer to the AKS Release Status page, as you mentioned, since it provides detailed insights into version availability and updates directly from the AKS team.
