This is correct. These USB dongles are plug and play so nothing else is required.

Hello!
I've recently purchased a new computer, with it I've had only one issue; There is no Wifi Driver/Adapter Package.
I'm not sure what to do with this, however, as of current I am using my phone with USB Tethering to
get any connection.

It's unusual for a new computer not to have WiFi built in, but that's easy to fix: Purchase a USB WiFi dongle and plug it into a USB port on your computer. These dongles are inexpensive, so you really should get a good one, which will set you back about $25 US. Download the driver from the manufacturer's website then insert the dongle. 2026-02-18T17:48:54.59+00:00 I don't know how you usually connect to WiFi, because you haven't told us. In the most common home user scenario, there is a WiFi router (or a modem with a WiFi router built in) that connects to a WiFi adapter which is either built into or (in the case of a dongle) added to a computer. If that's how you connect to WiFi, you're in luck - setting up your WiFi network will be easy.
Virtually every home user WiFi router comes with a detailed instruction manual that has step-by-step instructions for setting up a WiFi network (often with illustrations). Follow the instructions carefully and you are good to go. No command lines or system configuration steps are necessary. Once you have completed all the instructions, just restart your computer and give the router or modem 2 or 3 minutes to set itself up and tada - you're connected and will remain connected unless you decide to disconnect.
This is how I've setup every WiFi network I've owned, and I haven't run into a problem (that I could blame on the network). Sure, the computer manufacturer includes fancy software I can use to configure my WiFi adapter, but who needs that unless you have a specialized use case.
