Linking Work and Personal Accounts

Hi, I am trying to link my work and Personal Account. When I log into my work account it states that I have no Personal accounts. So I go to add my personal account and it states I can only have 1 personal account. It looks like it thinks I already have one but I dont and there is nothing showing on the Settings page. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have also created a new account ( Personal ) and attempted to add that, but have the same issue.

The problem appears to be that it is seeing my work account as a personal ( even though its clearly showing the work icon on login ). I did have a personal account created with the same id, but I have changed this. Could this be the problem and if so how do I resolve this.

Linking a work and personal microsoft account is not longer possible to do.
