Teams Calendar stuck on view with work start day on thursday

Dear Community,

The Teams calendar in the App-version of teams starts the view on Thursday.
However in the Web-version the calendar starts on Monday as configured in the settings of the Web-version.
Also in the App-version of Outlook and the Web-version of Outlook the calendar starts on Monday.

We have tried settings all possible languages to ENG-US and then back tot NL-Dutch. But this has no effect on the Calendar in the App-version of Teams. Still locked on startday as Thursday.
We have tried setting the correct settings in Outlook options. this did not resolve the problem.
We have tried setting the correct settings in MS-Teams options. this did not resolve the problem.
We have tried setting the correct settings in Outlook Web-version. this did not resolve the problem.
We have tried setting the correct settings in MS-Teams Web-version. this did not resolve the problem.
We have tried setting the correct settings in Account options in office365. this did not resolve the problem.
We have reinstalled the laptop of the user with a new local profile. This also did not resolve the problem.

Question: What are we missing here? We checked al these settings and we believe there are some invisable settings stored somewhere!

Hopefully someone has found a solution as many technians have investigated this and could not solve this problem. Please help!

Kind Regards,
Technetdp

Hi @Technetdp-1104

Have you tried to change another device to see if it can be reproduced?

Does anyone else have the same problem in your organization?

According to your description, it looks like this problem only occurred in Teams client. To solve it, it firstly recommend you try to follow these steps to clear your client cache file to see if it can be fixed:

1.Fully quit Microsoft Teams and ensure it’s not still running in the toolbar at the bottom right of Windows.
2.Navigate to %appdata%/Microsoft/Teams in a File Window.
3.Select everything in the folder.
4.Delete everything.
5.Open Teams and wait for it to download required files.

Hi Jimmy,

Thanks for your reply! I really appreciate it.

I will try to investigate and get back.

We already have found out that this user does not have this problem in our cloud environment where the teams-app also is available. So the solution could be found in version differences.

Kind Regards,
Michel

Hi @Technetdp-1104

Thanks for sharing your test process of your problem.

Have you tried to change time zone to the correct setting in Outlook Web App? To complete it:

  1. Sign in to Outlook Web App, click Settings (), and then click View all Outlook settings at the bottom of the settings panel. (If you are using an older version, click on Mail under App Settings)

  2. In the Settings window, click General, and then click Language and Time. (Region and time zone in older version.)

  3. In the Current time zone box, click the arrow, and then click the correct time zone setting.

  4. Click Save.

Hi Jimmy,

I did check the time settings mentioned by you, but these were also correctly configured.

Since this problem was not bothering the user we have decided to give it up for now.

My best guess is that it's related to a old Windows 10 Build version and Outlook 2016.

I will mark your last answer as the solution. Because it has to do something with these settings related.

Kind Regards,
Michel
