I had a failing CPU so update to the latest which meant changing motherboard and cpu. I was able to start my pc and windows was working. I tried using reset my PC but that kept failing saying corrupt system files. I tried sfcscan now and some other command prompt commands recommended online to fix the corrupt files but reset still wouldn't work.
I created an installation USB and reset the computer the old fashioned way. I have been using the Education edition since I was in college and kept upgrading and taking it with me from PC to PC. I dont have a key and I can see the product under my account, but because its always been under my personal email not it won't let me activate.

I have tried to login and get:
AADSTS500200: User account 'su***********@gmail.com' is a personal Microsoft account. Personal Microsoft accounts are not supported for this application unless explicitly invited to an organization. Try signing out and signing back in with an organizational account.

I have Also tried the changed hardware flow and that errors as well.
I cant connect with a human no matter what I try on the Msoft phone lines. My account wont sign-in due to above error to let me chat with IT through activation wizard.

Hello

So, your computer originally wasn't on Education edition, but you received the Education edition from your college, is that the case?

It looks like your Education was activated via the college account, not your gmail/personal Microsoft account. You can see your device under your personal account, but that doesn't mean it was the account that carries the license.

If you are no longer in school, there's no way to reactivate this but you will need to install the original edition, unless your school is willing to reactivate your college account. That's not a decision Microsoft can override.
