I tried 4 different credit cards to pay the subscription but I always get a message to check card details. All details are correct but the system is not accepting the card. The current card on the system has been deactivitaed and the system is not accepting any new billing cards.

Hey there! Nice to meet you!

Based on the error message you received, I highly recommend performing the following workarounds according to Microsoft Agent | Moderator Prakhar_Khare, who answered a similar case: https://learn.microsoft.com/answers/questions/3193503/error-check-the-info-you-entered-it-doesnt-match-t?forum=windows-all&referrer=answers

"A few of the things you can check while entering the details:

    • Enter your name precisely as it appears on the card. Only include your middle initial if it appears on your card.
    • If this is a company card, enter the company name as both a first name and last name. For example, if the company name is "Contoso Shoes" split the company name into the first and last name fields.
    • If the company only has one name, for example, "Contoso," enter the company name in both the first and last name fields.
    • If you are asked to enter the address and it exceeds the Address 1 field, use the Address 2 field. Do not shorten or abbreviate your address.
    • The card number and type cannot be edited, so if you make a mistake, you'll need to add a new one with the correct information. Other credit card information can be edited, such as billing address and expiration date.

If you are experiencing issues with your credit cards being declined for your subscription, here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem:

    1. Verify Card Details: Ensure that all card details, including the card number, expiration date, name, and billing address, match exactly what is on the card and your bank statement.
    2. Check Card Activation: Since you mentioned that the current card on the system has been deactivated, make sure that any new cards you are trying to add are active and not blocked. Contact your bank to confirm this.
    3. International Transactions: If your cards are from a different country than your Microsoft account, ensure that they are enabled for international transactions.
    4. Payment Method Restrictions: Some types of cards, such as virtual or prepaid cards, may not be accepted. Ensure that you are using a standard credit or debit card.
    5. Sufficient Funds: Check that your card has sufficient funds or credit available to cover the subscription cost.
    6. Contact Support: If you continue to have issues, consider reaching out to Microsoft support for assistance with your billing account.

By following these steps, you should be able to resolve the billing issues you're facing with your subscription.
