I've been having trouble with interviews via Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams—any app I try to use for interviews with my camera on - just doesn't work. Could you please help me get my camera working? Thank you so much!

Some laptop models have a camera on/off key, usually between F1 and F12 that must be pressed together with the FN key, or a protective cover on the camera. Check to see if your model has one of these.

Also click on the start menu and type msinfo32
    Open System Information

Take a screenshot and upload it here, this will help find the camera driver for your system model.

If your camera is not working across multiple applications like Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams, here are some troubleshooting steps you can follow:

    1. Check Camera Connection: Ensure that your camera is securely connected to your device. If it's a USB camera, try unplugging and re-plugging it.
    2. Power Supply: If your camera requires an external power supply, make sure it is connected and powered on.
    3. Camera Configuration: Verify that your camera is not mistakenly configured as a content camera in the settings of the applications you are using.
    4. Device Drivers: Make sure that the camera drivers are up to date. You can check the manufacturer's website for the latest drivers and install them.
    5. Privacy Settings: Check your privacy settings in Windows to ensure that apps are allowed to access your camera. Go to Settings > Privacy > Camera and ensure that access is enabled.
    6. USB Extenders: If you are using USB extenders, try connecting the camera directly to the computer instead, as extenders can sometimes cause issues.
    7. Check for Conflicting Applications: Ensure that no other applications are using the camera simultaneously, as this can prevent it from working in the app you are trying to use.
    8. Restart Applications: Sometimes, simply restarting the application or your computer can resolve the issue.

If the problem persists after trying these steps, it may be worth checking for any known issues with your specific camera model or contacting the manufacturer for further assistance.
