Set up autocomplete in new Outlook for my own words specific to me

For example I want to type in 'Phul' and for autocomplete to make it 'Phul-Nana'. I have been able to set this up in Word but it doesn't transfer to New Outlook.

The instructions say:Method 2: New Outlook for Windows

  1. Click the Gear Icon (Settings) in the top right corner.
  2. Select Mail > Compose and reply.
  3. Scroll down to Microsoft Editor and click Editor settings.
  4. Select AutoCorrect.
  5. Click the + sign to add a new rule.
  6. Add your short code in the Replace column and your custom phrase in the With column.  Within new Outlook Settings there is only 'Email', not 'mail' and within that there is 'compose and reply' but this does not contain 'Microsoft Editor'

Where did you see those instructions? That location for editor options is outdated - and I don't recall seeing autocorrect as an option in new Outlook. When I checked the roadmap, autocorrect found nothing but there are options for spell check. I would add the name to the personal dictionary - if it's not already there, to might be offered as a predicted test.

    Roadmap: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/roadmap?msockid=2d5fdd894d02630f2649ca8a4c7c6261&filters=%5B%22Outlook%22%5D&searchterms=spelling#Roadmap

Open a new message. You should have an Editor button on the ribbon (options tab) or click on the icon in the lower right - either opens the editor settings. Scroll to the end to access the options. But I don't see a way to edit autocorrect from the settings.

The ribbon button includes the personal dictionary - but that underlines bad spelling, not autocorrects.

Thank you. I entered the required words in my personal dictionary but autocorrect is not coming to the rescue!
