    Open Word.

At the top right of Word, log out of Office.

Restart (not shut down) your PC, then log back into Office, is your subscription then correctly recognised.

If you're receiving messages about a past due event for your Microsoft 365 subscription despite having paid, there are a few steps you can take to resolve this issue:

    1. Check Subscription Status: Ensure that your subscription is indeed active. You can verify this by signing into your Microsoft account and checking the subscription details.
    2. Payment Issues: If your payment was not processed correctly, it could lead to a past due notice. Make sure that your payment method is valid and that there are no issues with your bank or credit card provider.
    3. Contact Support: If everything appears correct on your end, consider reaching out to Microsoft Support for assistance. They can provide specific insights into your account and help resolve any billing issues.

Following these steps should help clarify why you're receiving the past due messages and assist in resolving the situation.
