To connect an agent (bot/Copilot agent) to a Microsoft Teams meeting, use one of these supported methods depending on how the agent was created.

1. Add a Channel Agent directly in the meeting
2. In Teams, open the meeting chat where the agent should be added.
3. On the conversation menu bar, select Add people, agents, and bots.
4. Select Add agents and bots.
5. In the search box, type the name of the Channel Agent and select it.
6. The agent is added to the meeting as a participant and can then be @mentioned in the meeting chat.

When added to a Teams meeting, Channel Agent can answer questions and use the meeting transcript as a knowledge source for summaries and status reports.

2. Share a Channel Agent from its channel into a meeting
3. Go to the Teams channel where the Channel Agent was created.
4. Hover over the agent’s icon and select the Share button, or select Add agents, and bots, then right‑click the agent’s icon and select Share.

6. Paste the share link into the meeting chat.
