After updating to Windows 11 25H2, I’ve noticed a massive FPS drop of around 80 FPS compared to version 24H2. Games that used to run perfectly now show severe performance degradation, stuttering, and occasional crashes with my AMD Radeon GPU. I’ve already done a clean driver reinstall using DDU, updated to the latest AMD drivers, and disabled unnecessary background features, but the issue persists. For reference, version 23H2 was the most stable and provided the best overall gaming performance on my system. It seems that something in 25H2 has negatively affected GPU performance or compatibility.

After the update, I had 80 to 100 fps drops in CS2 and I can't uninstall the mentioned update. So, I'm stuck with this. Is there any other solution to this or should we wait for MS to solve it.

This is a major Windows failure. I have an Asus based RIG (Asus RTX 5070 Ti 16 Gb TUF OC and Asus TUF z790 plus) with a i9-14900KF CPU and my games just freeze continuously under a default ASUS OC profile.
This is so frustrating and unacceptable

This is the worst few updates ever. i am usually very late to update due to errors but this time I've decided to go ahead and install the new patch. what could go wrong... now i can almost not play my fav game due to this few windows update. I've tried to uninstall them as far back as i can but problem still exist. cant remove the first update that started with these issues. think its KB5074109. close to use the slur Microsoft hates but i do think that is a part of the cause here......

This is by far the most unstable version of Windows 11 for gaming that I’ve experienced. Since updating to 25H2, my system performance has dropped significantly, with severe FPS drops, stuttering, and frequent crashes in multiple games, even general performance feels heavy. I want to uninstall it but i'm scared to cause theh system to fail. any solutions for a safe rolling back ?

Whether you uninstall updates, perform a System Restore, run an in‑place upgrade, or revert to a previous OS version, please make sure to back up your important personal files beforehand.

You can create a system restore point first and then try uninstalling the update.

How many days have passed since you upgraded to 25H2?

If it has been within 10 days, you can revert to the previous version by following the steps in the support article below.

25H2 has put my entire PC in fast-forward, and I am getting visual artefacts. I have an RTX3070. While the farme rate is normal, the timing is all sped up, and all games, and even my OS itself is running in fast forward. I have Windows 11 Home and, as such, I cannot uninstall KB5074109, as I only have 5 updates on the list (2 instances of KB2565063, KB4074828, KB5054156, and KB5077241). Is Microsoft planning on releasing an update to finally fix this major issue?!

This whole experience is frustrating the hell out of me!
