I have an Intel I7-7500U processor. Your list identified this processor as a baseline requirement. The health check states my processor is not one that meets minimums. Why???

    Hello,

Unfortunately, I7-7500U processor is not compatible for Windows 11, according to Microsoft.

Please check with official Windows 11 list of supported processors: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/design/minimum/supported/windows-11-supported-intel-processors

You can drop a feedback to Microsoft about this, using Feedback hub app.

    Regards.

    Hi there,

I Highly doubt that there might not be any addition of the processes to the list but you can continue using windows 10 which will get a 21H2 update which would be similar to Windows 11.

Only 8th generation processors are supported for Windows 11. This is been specified by the PC manufacturers for improved security and performance. It seems I7-7500U is not on the list.
