MS 365 Subscription

I have been subscribing to Office 365 for many years and have been very happy with it. I have considered it very good value for money.

However, I do not want to have "AI Credits" attached and am not happy to see that my subscription increases from €99 to €129 purely based on Microsoft making AI available to me. I have no interest in AI and do not appreciate having it "imposed on me" while being charged for what I regard as superfluous brain-numbing waste.

Therefore, I would kindly ask that you remove my AI Credits and revert my annual subscription to €99

Microsoft 365 Personal, Family, and Premium plans now include AI credits and AI features as part of the standard subscription. The AI credits are integrated into these plans and are not an optional add-on that can be removed or unbundled from the subscription, and the subscription price and included benefits are defined by Microsoft for each plan.

If the current plan and pricing no longer meet requirements, the available options are:

    1. Review or change the Microsoft 365 plan
      • Compare available Microsoft 365 plans and choose a different one if it better fits needs and budget. See Compare all Microsoft 365 plans from the documentation referenced below.
    2. Cancel the Microsoft 365 subscription
      • To stop future charges, cancel the subscription:
        1. Go to the Services & subscriptions page for the Microsoft account.
        2. Select the Microsoft 365 subscription.
        3. Choose Cancel subscription (or Upgrade or Cancel) and follow the prompts.
      • After cancellation, the subscription remains usable until the end of the current billing period. Storage limits will then revert to the free tier, which can affect OneDrive and Outlook.com usage.
    3. Check renewal timing and notifications
      • Existing subscribers will not see a price change until the next renewal. An email notice is sent at least 30 days before the renewal date, which may be as late as December 2025 for renewals in early 2026.

For any billing disputes or refund questions after cancellation, follow the standard cancellation and refund guidance in the referenced articles and, if needed, contact Microsoft Support through the official support channels.
