    1. Are you receiving any error messages when you open the camera?
    2. Are you using the built-in Windows Camera app, or another application such as Zoom, Teams, or a web browser?
    3. Please check if your laptop has a physical camera shutter or privacy switch, which is usually located near the webcam or on the keyboard. If you find one, make sure it is turned on or open. Additionally, some laptops use a keyboard shortcut to enable or disable the camera (often Fn + one of the F1–F12 keys with a camera icon). Please try using that shortcut and check if the camera starts working.

Hi test with app Camera first.

    1. Check hardware privacy controls
      • On many laptops, a function key (for example F4 or another F-key with a camera icon) toggles the camera on/off. Press that key, or Fn + that key, to enable the webcam again.
      • Check for a physical privacy shutter/slider over the camera lens and make sure it is fully open.
    2. Check Windows privacy and app permissions
      • Open Settings → Privacy & security → Camera.
      • Ensure Camera access and Let apps access your camera are turned on.
      • Scroll down and make sure the affected apps (Camera, Teams, etc.) are allowed to use the camera.
