Account Verification Loop / Russian Passport Rejected by Persona

Dear LinkedIn Support Team,

I am writing to request assistance with my LinkedIn account, as I am locked in a verification loop and cannot log in.

Account Information:

  • Full Name: Nikita Krasulin
  • Email associated with the account: ******@gmail.com

Issue Description: I am a user from Russia, and I can only access LinkedIn through a VPN due to local restrictions. Approximately two weeks ago, I successfully passed the identity verification process. I submitted my Russian passport, and after 4 days, I received confirmation that my documents were accepted, and I was able to log in.

However, shortly after, the system asked me to verify my identity again. I am now stuck in a loop with the verification provider "Persona." Every time I scan the QR code and state that I am from Russia, Persona displays a message saying: "Please check back later" or asks me to contact support later. I have been trying for over a month, and the result is always the same.

The Problem: I believe the issue is that Persona does not support Russian passports as a valid form of ID. I have a valid Russian international passport, but the system refuses to process it.

I have already proven my identity once before, but now I am unable to access my account due to this technical limitation with the third-party verification service. I have tried using different devices, browsers, and VPN locations, but nothing helps.

Request: Could you please verify my identity manually, or provide an alternative verification method that works with Russian documents? I am happy to provide my passport details directly via a secure channel if needed. I just need to break this loop and regain access to my account.

Thank you for your time and assistance.

Best regards,
