How to adjust font size for Microsoft Teams on a Macbook Pro?

Question

I have a Macbook Pro and my TEAMS messages (the font is SO small). How do I adjust it? I did look up this question and I was told to go to ZOOM under settings. I do not. have a zoom choice.

Make everything in Teams bigger (UI + chats) with Mac shortcut

While Teams is the active app, press:

• Zoom in: Command + "="
• Zoom out: Command + "-"
• Reset to 100%: Command + "0"

If you prefer a menu: use the three dots (…) > Zoom control

In the newer Teams UI, the zoom control can be in the three dots (…) near your profile/avatar (top right), not under Settings.

• Select your profile/avatar area
• Select the three dots (...)
• Choose Zoom, then use "+" / "−" (and reset if available)

If you only mean “make my outgoing message text bigger”

This changes the font size of what you are typing (not the whole app UI):

• In a chat/channel, expand the compose box by selecting Format.
• On the toolbar, select Font size and choose Small / Medium / Large. Change message font size in Microsoft Teams - Microsoft Support

To make text easier to read in Microsoft Teams on a MacBook Pro, adjust both the overall Teams zoom and the message font size.

1. Adjust overall Teams interface zoom (makes sidebars, chat list, and UI bigger):
   • Press Command + = to zoom in.
   • Press Command + - to zoom out.
   • Press Command + 0 to reset zoom.
     These shortcuts work even if there is no “Zoom” option in Teams settings.
2. Increase font size for messages (chat/channel text):
   • In a chat or channel, start a new message.
   • Select Format (the “A” with a pencil icon) to expand the compose box.
   • On the toolbar that appears, select Font size.
   • Choose Large (or Medium) and then type the message.
     This affects how large the text appears as it is written and sent.

If the goal is accessibility for others reading messages, using the Large font size in messages is recommended.
