How to recategorize applications in windows11 start menu

Applications appear to be autosorted into categories without regard to their function. Corsair's iCue suite was dumped into the "Creativity" bucket instead of "Utilities & Tools". Intel Driver and Support Assistant was likewise dumped into "Other" instead of "Utilities & Tools".

Furthermore, windows has decided to nest applications multiple levels deep which is just gross.

Why is there no reason for the USER to define how applications are categorized and displayed in the start menu. This used to be a standard feature in Win10, but current functionality in Win11 the USER is at the mercy of an unknowable algorithm that doesn't contain enough context to appropriately sort applications.

    Hello !

Unfortunately, at the moment, you cannot change Windows 11 start menu categories. These are fixed and determined by Windows. This request has already been published on Microsoft's feedback hub, as you can see here : https://aka.ms/AAuvz4j
If you're not happy about categories, you can still revert to a more classic display layout by switching to Grid or List.

Please let me know if you have any other question !
