Kernel mode driver signing process

Hi, I'm starting a company focused on securing company information. The product will entail a kernel-mode driver. I wanted to connect with someone to understand the process - at what point should I get the appropriate signing for the driver, since we'll likely go through a period of testing. So I'm just looking to speak w/ someone so I can understand the overall process better.
