Hello,
I am having three error messages appear when attempting to launch certain steam games. The following are said they are either not compatible with Windows or may contain an error: X3DAudio1_7.dll, XINPUT1_3.dll, and d3dx9_43.dll.
I have attempted to install Windows Media X as solution, but with no success. I updated all AMD drivers, and my BIOS is up to date. I also reverified all the game file integrity and no issues were found.

Files should be deleted in System32 and SysWOW64. Then allow the computer to restart, then run windows installation of MediaX runtime.

Usually those errors indicate you need to install DirectX 9 from the link below, then restart (not shut down) your PC and then re-install the games.

Click your Start Button, then just type dxdiag and press Enter.
On the resulting DirectX utility, select the Display tab.
Please provide a screenshot of that Display tab.

2026-03-12T13:17:32.72+00:00 Thank you for that information, there is no problem indicated there, download this version of DirectX and install that, restart your PC, then try running those games, if that does not resolve the problem, because there is no problem indicated with your Windows installation or graphics drivers, it would be best to post a question on the Steam Community forum.

2026-03-12T14:27:26.93+00:00 Have you tried removing the graphics drivers using DDU, then go to the AMD website to try installing a couple of other versions of the drivers AMD provide for your graphics card model.
