How do I downgrade an account from Basic to Free if I don't need the support ?

Hello

I mistakenly signed. up for the account that includes support; can I please downgrade to the Free account ?

The FAQ's advertise the upgrade option, but not the downgrade.

I'll find it easy to upgrade even beyond basic, if it's also easy to downgrade; otherwise I'm less likely to.

Elastic like a cloud.

Hi

Sorry I was not specific - the entire Azure account.

Newcomers signing up have 30 days free and then have to sign up to a particular tier, from memory, Free (you get some free services but pay for some), Basic (£ 22/month, which gets you support), and so on.

I ticked the 'Basic' and wanted to know if I could revert to the Free for now, switching back to Basic or even advanced when my business takes off.

Sorry, it doesn't work like that. Free trial will eventually go to Pay As You Go

Hello

I have already upgraded to the Pay as you go. I recall I had a few options:

zero monthly cost, just pay for VM time, database time, etc

£22/month; as above, but I can get 8hour email support

higher options.

I signed up for the £22/month.

And would like to sign up to the 0 £ / month (but obviously pay for what I use) - i.e. I don't need the support.

Is my recollection right ? Is that possible ?

As further detail: as per https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/offers/ms-azr-0003p/,

"Upgrading from Azure Free Account
If you upgraded from an Azure Free Account offer you will continue to have access to select free services for the remainder of the 12-month duration of that offer (beginning on the date you signed up for the Azure Free Account). Credits provided as part of the Azure Free Account will be automatically carried over but will expire 30 days from the date you signed up for the Azure Free Account. At the end of the 12-month period, your account will be billed at the standard Pay-As-You-Go rates."

So I'm after the 30 days free account with credit, and in the 12-month period.

If I cancel my current pay as you go subscription, will my subscription be reverted back to the free tier?
