Sending emails

Having trouble sending emails from my iPhone not sure if server information is set correctly. Have old Hotmail email and old outlook one.

Are you using the Outlook app or the iPhone mail app? The accounts should be added to the mail using auto account setup - but if you are asked for the account type, choose Outlook.com or Microsoft Exchange. Do not add them as IMAP accounts.

What exactly happens when you try to send mail?
