AFAIK, Microsoft 365 Copilot does not have a dedicated "signature button" within its interface, but it can assist you by generating the text for a professional signature or by preserving your existing signature while drafting emails.

You can try any of the following:

    1. Set Your Signature as Default in Outlook

Copilot is designed to insert your default signature automatically at the bottom of its drafts. You must configure this in your Outlook settings:

    • New Outlook & Web: Go to Settings (gear icon) > Accounts > Signatures. Create your signature and select it under For New Messages and For Replies/Forwards.
    • Classic Outlook: Go to File > Options > Mail > Signatures to set your defaults.
    1. Lock the Signature Block (New Outlook)

To prevent Copilot from accidentally overwriting or removing images (like logos) from your signature during the drafting process:

    • Go to Settings > Mail > Compose and reply.
    • Look for the Signature section and check the box for "Do not allow editing of my signature".
    1. Use Copilot to Create a Signature

You can use Copilot to generate a polished signature by providing a prompt in the Microsoft Copilot chat or the drafting window:

    • Example Prompt: "Create a professional email signature for [Your Name], [Your Job Title] at [Company Name]. Include a placeholder for a phone number and a link to our website."
    • Once generated, copy the text and paste it into the Outlook Signature settings described above.
    1. Adjust Copilot Draft Instructions

If you find Copilot adding its own sign-offs (like "Thanks, [Name]") that duplicate your signature, you can set custom instructions:

    • Click the Copilot icon in a new email > Settings > Draft Instructions.
    • Enable "Use custom instructions when drafting email" and add a note such as: "Do not include a sign-off, as my Outlook signature will handle it".

If the above response helps answer your question, remember to "Accept Answer" so that others in the community facing similar issues can easily find the solution. Your contribution is highly appreciated.
