The “Unexpected error” page with s=ERROR_VUE_WIDE_BLOCK indicates that the Pearson VUE account used for Microsoft exam scheduling has been blocked, typically because of multiple failed payment attempts.
To resolve this, the block must be removed by Pearson VUE support. Use the Pearson VUE support link provided on the Microsoft Certification Support page at https://aka.ms/CertificationSupport and contact them to have the block lifted. After Pearson VUE clears the block, return to the exam scheduling flow on Microsoft Learn and try again.
