How do i change form the office 365 personal plan i have now to a family plan?

To change from Microsoft 365 Personal to Microsoft 365 Family, follow the steps for switching to a subscription with more features:

1. Buy a Microsoft 365 Family subscription using the same Microsoft account that is currently used for the Personal subscription.
2. After purchase, the Microsoft 365 Family benefits become available immediately.
3. The remaining days on the current Personal subscription are automatically converted and added to the new Family subscription. The exact number of days added depends on the plans involved (from Personal to Family, 92% of the remaining time is added to the new subscription).

There is no separate “upgrade” button; purchasing Microsoft 365 Family on the same account effectively switches the plan.
