We have recently deployed an application in our environment (our environment is Windows 10, 2004 - Hardware Lenovo Thinkpad)

When the power supply is connected to the laptop the application loads when required.

When the power supply is disconnected the application will close

If the power supply is not connected to the laptop then the application wont load.

Power management is set to High Performance

All bios power settings are set to high performance

I have tried upgrading all drivers, bios updates, firmware this has not solved the issue

I have tried loading base Windows 10 2004 to eliminate our SOE and this has not solved the issue

I have tried different hardware HP Tablet running Windows 10 2004 and the problem is still present.

I'm really running out of ideas. can anyone suggest what i could possibly try next

This is a new application which we will be deploying to our fleet of mobile devices (approx 300)
i haven't contacted manufacturer at this stage as i can replicate the issue on two different manufacturer devices (Lenovo and HP)

I'm currently testing my 20H2 deployment which we are planning to roll out shortly just waiting for our business units to complete testing.

for me i believe its an issue with the application, im just trying to build my case an eliminate any possible OS issues that could be causing the issue.

There may be reports in the event viewer or reliability monitor.

    https://www.howtogeek.com/166911/reliability-monitor-is-the-best-windows-troubleshooting-tool-you-arent-using/

The event viewer will have more detailed information.

The methods that you have used have already tested two different computer manufacturers and operating systems on two different computers.

If you want to test different versions of Windows you can make free backup images.

Then install older versions of Windows with or without computer manufacture supported drivers.

Once you've completed the testing you can restore an image.

Thanks for your reply. I have checked Event Viewer and i dont see any errors that relate to any crashes or useful information when the power cable is removed.
i will give reliability monitor a go and see if that comes back with anything useful.
I will be deploying 20h2 shortly to our fleet, so i will update my test device and see if that makes any difference.

Please indicate whether there are continued problems.

Another website link can be posted to run a log collector > files can be scanned for troubleshooting
