    I don't think this will solve your problem, but it may prevent a problem from occurring in the future.

    Hi,

    Unlinking OneDrive from your PC will remove all online-only files stored in OneDrive.

    Here's what you can do:

    Copy all the files/folders from your OneDrive folder to your local drive C: or Local drive D:.

    Create a new folder and paste all the contents that you've copied.

    Once all the files are accessible, you can then unlink your account from OneDrive.

    Right-click the OneDrive icon on the taskbar, select Settings > Accounts > Unlink this PC.

    ==

    If the files are not available in the OneDrive Recycle Bin folder,

    Did you also check the desktop recycle bin and see if the files or folders were ended up there?

    Hello, thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

    Did you check if the files are available in OneDrive online instead?

    Open an incognito tab on any web browser and sign in with your Microsoft account on OneDrive online.

    If you can see all of your files in OneDrive on the web, the issue is likely a sync problem between the OneDrive desktop app and your device. In that case, try re-linking your OneDrive account to resync all of your files.

    If you still can’t find your files or folders, check the OneDrive Recycle Bin.

    ========

    To unlink your account on OneDrive:

    Right-click the OneDrive icon on the taskbar, select Settings > Accounts > Unlink this PC.

    Once done, restart your computer and sign in with your Microsoft account on OneDrive.

    Let me know if you still need more help.
