How to export or copy the scheduler history logs? Where are they located?
open Event Viewer and navigate to Applications and Services Logs / Microsoft / Windows / TaskScheduler / Optional, you will see all the Task Histories.
The .evt files are under C:\Windows\System32\Winevt\Logs directory.

I think 'Optional' above should be 'Operational'

When I look at these logs, I don’t see anything. I am certain that tasks are being run, though. Why isn’t there anything there?
I found https://serverfault.com/a/980665 which says that enabling the log is all that’s required to get Task Scheduler to start logging to it. Trying that out.
