Hello,

I received my renewal notice last month for my M365 personal account, and I paid the renewal fee on February 24, 2026. ln my actual Microsoft account online, it is showing that I paid the renewal, but I keep getting notices on my laptop from Microsoft that I have not paid the M365 renewal subscription fee?

I looked at the account billed and the renewal fee was deducted on March 2, 2026. Over two weeks have passed since the renewal fee has been paid, and I am still getting renewal notices and cancellation warnings from Microsoft?! I have rebooted my laptop, I have a great internet connection, this should have been updated!

Hi! if your Services & subscriptions page shows the Microsoft 365 Personal renewal as paid and active, that usually means the billing itself went through, and the issue is more likely that your laptop is still reading an old subscription state locally rather than the renewal having failed. Microsoft’s guidance for subscription notice banners is to first confirm the subscription status online, then sign out of Office apps, close them completely, reopen them, and sign back in with the same Microsoft account that owns the subscription. Have you tried that?
