Dear Pearson VUE Customer Support Team,

I hope you are doing well.

I am writing to request your assistance regarding an exam scheduling issue. I intended to schedule the Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) exam; however, by mistake, I have scheduled the Microsoft AI Fundamentals (AI-900) exam instead.

Here are the details of my booking:

Candidate Name: Siddharth Singh Tanwar

Registered Email ID: ******@gmail.com

Exam Scheduled: Microsoft AI Fundamentals (AI-900)

Intended Exam: Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)

Appointment Date & Time: 20th march - 7.30 AM IST

Voucher Details: Provided by my organization (GlobalLogic) to redeem for this exam fees.

This voucher was specifically issued for the Azure Fundamentals certification, and the incorrect exam selection was unintentional.

I kindly request you to:

Either reschedule my current booking to Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) with New date and Time - 25th March - 7.30 AM IST

Or cancel the existing appointment and allow me to rebook the correct exam using the same voucher

Please let me know if any additional information is required from my side to process this request.

I would greatly appreciate your prompt assistance in resolving this matter.

Thank you for your support.

Best regards,

Siddharth

You cannot change the exam number on a booking. You will need to cancel the exam appointment and create a new booking

Use the voucher and exam scheduling policies plus direct support channels to resolve this.

    1. Cancel or reschedule the incorrect AI-900 exam
      • Sign in to the Learn profile that was used to schedule the exam.
      • Go to Profile → Credentials → Certifications.
      • Find the AI-900 exam appointment and choose Cancel or Reschedule.
      • This will redirect to the exam delivery provider (Pearson VUE) to complete the cancellation or reschedule.
      • Ensure this is done at least 24 hours before the scheduled time; otherwise, the exam fee or company voucher may be forfeited.
    2. If the voucher cannot be reused automatically
      • Because the voucher was provided by an organization and the wrong exam was booked, contact support to request help with the voucher and booking:
      • Explain that the voucher was intended for AZ-900, but AI-900 was scheduled by mistake, and request either:
        • A change of the appointment to AZ-900 on the desired date/time, or
        • Cancellation of AI-900 and reinstatement of the voucher so it can be used to book AZ-900.
    3. Coordinate with the organization (GlobalLogic)
      • If the voucher is company-purchased and is forfeited due to late cancellation or no-show, the company may be charged a no-show fee.
      • Inform the internal training/HR team about the issue so they can assist if a new voucher is required.
    4. Example structure for the request (to Pearson VUE or Certification Support)
      • Clearly state:
        • Current exam: Microsoft AI Fundamentals (AI-900)
        • Intended exam: Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)
        • Original appointment date/time and requested new date/time
        • That the voucher is organization-issued and was meant for AZ-900
      • Ask explicitly to either move the booking to AZ-900 on the new date/time or cancel and allow reuse of the same voucher.
