I bought a subscription with Microsoft 365 on mt apple account, I have receipt and I am using the same email. Unfortunately, Microsoft keeps telling me that I do not have a subscription but they took 99 euros in my bank account. What shall I do?

    Hi Gie,

No worries, this can easily be fixed. If you buy a subscription from the Apple store, it should be mapped to a Microsoft account. Let us first verify that.

    Please go to https://account.microsoft.com/services page.

Let me know if you see an active subscription there -please ensure to check all the Microsoft accounts.

I’m eager to hear back and work together to find a solution.

Because the subscription was bought through the Apple App Store, it is handled as a third‑party purchase and may not show correctly in the Microsoft account or portal.

    Try these steps:

    1. Confirm which Apple ID was used
      • On the Mac or iOS device, check the App Store purchase history and confirm the Apple ID that was charged the 99 euros.
    2. Make sure the same Microsoft account is used in Office
      • Sign out of all Office apps on the Mac.
      • Sign back in using the same Microsoft account that was signed in when the subscription was originally purchased from the App Store. Subscriptions are associated with the Microsoft account used at the time of purchase, not the Apple ID alone.
      • If you might have used a different Microsoft account (personal vs work/school, or another personal address), try signing in with that account.
    3. Restore the App Store purchase
      • On the Mac, in an Office app (for example Word), use the in‑app option to restore the purchase and follow the steps in the “Restore previous purchase for Office for Mac” article referenced in the payment error documentation.
    4. If Microsoft still shows no subscription
      • Because the charge was made via Apple, contact Apple Support to verify and, if needed, request a refund for the 99 euros.
      • If the Office app shows a specific payment error code (such as 1303 or 1001–1005), follow the steps in the corresponding article and then contact Microsoft Support if the problem persists.

If the subscription had instead been purchased directly from Microsoft, cancellation and refund eligibility would be managed from the Microsoft account’s Services & subscriptions page, but App Store purchases must be managed and refunded through Apple.
