Hello, good day and thanks for your question. To add to the above, if your card is up to date and you have also verified that it is working for other purchase that you made online, please check and try this on a different browser or by using inPrivate or Incognito browsing and another alternative is to link your card to PayPal and use it as payment method. If you will still encounter an issue even after trying out the alternatives, you can reach out to the support team at https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/contactus/ and then click on Microsoft 365 and then click Get Home Support and then type in Billing question and click the blue button that says Sign in to contact Support and login and proceed from there. Kindly take note that the forum does not have access to user accounts to be able to check and intervene with account related and billing side of things.

The address validation error usually occurs when the payment method details don’t exactly match what the bank or card issuer has on file, or when the payment method doesn’t meet Microsoft’s regional requirements.

    To troubleshoot:

    1. Confirm card and address details
      • Ensure the card number, expiration date, name on the card, and full billing address (including city, state/province, and ZIP/postal code) are entered exactly as they appear on the bank or card statement.
      • Correct spacing, punctuation, and spelling in the address (street name, city, postal code).
    2. Check country/region requirements
      • For Microsoft 365 business billing, the payment method must be issued from the same country/region as the tenant. If the card is from a different country/region, it cannot be added. In that case, use a card issued in the tenant’s country/region or contact the bank to confirm eligibility.
    3. Verify card status and funds
      • Make sure the card is active, not expired, and has sufficient funds or credit available. If the card continues to be declined, contact the bank or card issuer to see if any security measures are blocking Microsoft/online transactions.
    4. Try an alternate payment method
      • If the current card still cannot be added, try another credit/debit card that meets the same-country requirement.
      • If the account is approved to pay by wire transfer, that method can be selected as the default payment method for the billing profile.
    5. If the problem persists
      • After verifying all details and trying another card, contact Microsoft support from the Microsoft 365 admin center or Microsoft account portal so the billing team can review the billing profile and assist further.
