Colleen, do you mean you want to change from the Microsoft 365 Family plan to a Personal plan?

If so, you need to cancel your family plan first Please go to https://account.live.com

Sign into your Microsoft account. Then go to Subscription. Click on Manage for the subscription plan you want to cancel.

Then you can subcribe to the Personal Plan

If your family plan is not expired yet, it depends where you live. You might be eligible for prorated refund. See this article to find out if you are eligible: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/account-billing/countries-with-prorated-refunds-for-microsoft-subscriptions-38c81df4-10c1-f3eb-8d2f-b04f980c435f

If you are not qualified, and if the family plan was purchased during the last 30 days, speak to support in this case: Go to https://support.microsoft.com/contactus, Type "Billing" and press Enter. On the next screen, click "Contact support" at the bottom of the page, then choose "Microsoft 365" > "Manage my subscription". You’ll then see the option to chat with a Microsoft support agent who has access to your account to help review the issue.

Otherwise, you might want to wait til the Family plan is about to expire to sig up for the personal plan.
