Can you pls try following command in the administrative command prompt, to restore default power scheme:

    powercfg -restoredefaultschemes

    See if that helps you.

    Hi,

Turning on modern standby depends on whether your device supports it. If it is a newer device, modern standby is likely already enabled but that's another problem. Anyway, check if you could restore the option using the steps from this page.

I try a lot of options, the only closer to getting the sleep mode was suggested on a website to enable modern standby, sleep option did not appear, but hibernation and turn on fast startup appear under shutdown settings under power options - system settings

    Hi,

Was it available before, or has it never been an option on your device? When did you first notice that it is missing? If it just suddenly goes missing, you can first try restarting the device to see if it is just a glitch. If that didn't work, you have to check if the Sleep option is enabled.

    • Use the taskbar search and enter Control Panel
    • Change the View by to large or small icons
    • Select Power Options
    • Click on Choose what the power buttons do
    • Select Change settings that are currently unavailable
    • Ensure Sleep is checked then click Save changes.

If these steps don't work, please provide more details to the problem so I can suggest another solution.
