One Note Quick Notes Error/Not Available

I just bought Microsoft Surface Pro. When I use the pen and try to do quick notes, I am having this problems (attached images). I have tried doing the save & backup, quick repair and online repair but to no avail, it still doesn't work. Please advise.

The messages indicate that OneNote can’t find or load the section where Quick Notes should be stored, most likely because the section is offline or not yet synced from another device.

To resolve this, use these steps:

1. Make sure the notebook that should contain Quick Notes is fully synced on the device where Quick Notes were originally created. Open that notebook there and confirm sync completes.
2. On the Surface Pro, open the same notebook and let it finish syncing. If a section shows “This section isn’t available yet,” keep OneNote open and connected to the network until the sync completes.
3. After the notebook and its sections are available locally, configure the Quick Notes target:
   • In OneNote for Windows desktop, go to File > Options > Save & Backup.
   • Under Quick Notes section, choose a valid section in a notebook that is fully available (not showing offline or “not yet available”).
   • Select OK.
4. Test Quick Notes again with the Surface Pen. If the section is online and correctly selected, new Quick Notes should be created without error.

If the section continues to show as offline or “not yet available,” wait for the network to stabilize and sync to complete, or move Quick Notes to a different, fully synced section and select that as the Quick Notes section in Save & Backup.
