What is the cause of this problem is it because of transitioning from mosa to mca?

Can someone please explain?

Thanks.

    Dear @DeeDee-5338,

    I hope you’re having a good day.

Thank you for sharing the screenshot and for your question.

Based on the messages shown in your Microsoft 365 Admin Center, this situation is not directly caused by the transition from MOSA to MCA, although the two items appear together on the same screen and can understandably be confusing.

The yellow banner stating “When your subscriptions renew, you'll be moved to a new billing experience covered by a new Microsoft Customer Agreement” is informational only. It indicates that when your subscriptions renew, they will be managed under the Microsoft Customer Agreement (MCA) instead of the older Microsoft Online Subscription Agreement (MOSA). This notice by itself does not cancel or delete any subscriptions.

The red messages below are separate and more important. They indicate that your Microsoft 365 Business Basic and Microsoft 365 Business Standard subscriptions are currently in a state where they are scheduled for deletion on the listed dates. This typically happens when a subscription has been cancelled, has expired, or is not set to renew successfully. The presence of the “Reactivate now” option for Business Standard confirms that the subscription is no longer active but is still within a period where it can be restored.

These are related to billing and renewal status, not a system error. The MCA transition does not automatically delete active subscriptions, but if a subscription is not renewed or reactivated, it can move into a deletion state as shown in your screenshot.

To avoid service interruption, the subscriptions need to be reactivated or renewed before the deletion dates shown. If the subscriptions were purchased through a partner or reseller, you may need to contact them. Otherwise, Microsoft 365 Billing Support can review the billing status from the backend and confirm the exact reason the subscriptions are marked for deletion.

I hope this explanation helps clarify what you are seeing and why it is happening. Please feel free to reply if you need further clarification or guidance on the next steps.

    Warm regards,

The message in the screenshot is not caused by the MCA → MOSA transition itself. It shows that the current Microsoft 365 subscriptions (Business Basic and Business Standard) are in a state where they’re scheduled to be deleted on the listed future dates, and that when they renew they’ll move under a new Microsoft Customer Agreement.

The yellow banner (“When your subscriptions renew, you'll be moved to a new billing experience covered by a new Microsoft Customer agreement”) is only an informational notice about the new billing agreement. The red lines indicate that the specific subscriptions are cancelled/expired or otherwise not set to renew, so they’re queued for deletion unless reactivated.

To keep using those products, the subscriptions must be reactivated (using the “Reactivate now” option) or renewed under the new agreement before the deletion dates. If nothing is done, the services will eventually stop working and affected users will see subscription/activation warnings in Office apps, such as the “Account Notice” and “Unlicensed Product” messages described in the references.
