    Hi, I'm John!

Unfortunately, those emails are often bounced back to the sender and are not stored on the server, so they cannot always be recovered later.

A couple of things you can still check:

    • Ask the senders to resend the emails that were sent during the time your mailbox was full. In many cases, the sender would have received a "mailbox full" or "delivery failed" notice.
    • Check your Junk Email and Deleted Items folders just in case any messages were filtered there.

About your OneDrive/Outlook storage, are you now in your home country and able to renew?

I asked because the Microsoft 365 subscription is tied to the country and currency where it was originally purchased. Because of that, the system won’t let you extend the subscription or set up auto-billing using a payment method from your new country.

Use the following checks in Outlook.com (web) to see if the missing July–December 2025 emails can be located or recovered:

    1. Check Focused/Other and filters
    • In your Inbox, select the Other tab (if Focused Inbox is enabled) and look for the missing messages.
    • If you find any, select the message > Move to > Move to Focused inbox.
    • Select Filter above the message list and change it to All so no messages are hidden by filters.
    1. Check Deleted Items and recoverable items
    • Open the Deleted Items folder and look for the missing emails.
    • If found, select the message and choose Restore.
    • If they are not visible there, in Deleted Items, above the message list, select Recover items deleted from this folder.
    • If you find the messages, select them and choose Restore.
    • Note: Messages removed from Deleted Items are only recoverable for 30 days, and recovery of items deleted from Deleted Items must be done on a computer (not via Outlook mobile apps or mobile browser).
    1. Check Archive and other folders
    • Open the Archive folder and any custom folders to see if rules or manual actions moved the messages.
    • If found in Archive, select the message > Move to > Inbox.
    1. Check rules and blocked senders
    • Go to Outlook.com Rules settings and review any Inbox or Sweep rules that might move or delete messages. Edit or delete any rule that could have affected those emails.
    • In Blocked Senders or Block and allow settings, verify that important senders (e.g., tax-related senders) are not blocked. Remove them from the blocked list if present.
    1. Check recent sign-in activity
    • Visit the Recent activity page for your Microsoft account to confirm there was no unauthorized access that might have deleted or moved your mail.

If the emails were permanently deleted more than 30 days ago (for example, due to storage cleanup after a subscription issue) and do not appear in Deleted Items or the recoverable items view, they cannot be recovered via Outlook.com tools.
