Hi Djénéba,
Thank you for posting your question here! The message “Something happened and your PIN isn’t available” usually appears when Windows Hello PIN data cannot be used temporarily.
If no alternate sign‑in options appear:
- Click Power on the login screen
- Hold Shift
- Click Restart
- Choose Troubleshoot - Advanced options - Startup Settings - Restart
- Press 5 for Safe Mode with Networking
- Log in using your Microsoft account password.
After you successfully sign in, open Settings - Accounts - Sign‑in options, select PIN (Windows Hello), choose I forgot my PIN, and follow the instructions to create a new one. If you still can’t sign in after trying that, restart the PC into Recovery, go to Troubleshoot - Reset this PC - Keep my files, and let Windows repair the sign‑in components without deleting your personal data.
Let me know if you need further assistance, feel free to ask me by clicking "Add Comment" or "Add Answer" if you cannot add comment so your response will be visible. Thank you and I appreciate your effort.
Regards,
Angelique P.
