Hi Adrian Brenne

At this point, the server unavailability appears to be related to an underlying platform issue, and recovery may take additional time. While the service team continues to work on bringing the existing server back online, there is no guaranteed ETA for full availability.

As an alternative to reduce downtime, you may consider performing a Point‑in‑Time Restore (PITR) to restore the database to a new PostgreSQL Flexible Server using a timestamp prior to the issue. This allows you to bring the workload back online sooner while the original server recovery is still in progress.

Please note that PITR creates a new server, and application connection strings would need to be updated accordingly.

Let us know if you would like guidance on initiating a PITR or need help selecting an appropriate restore point.

I think ur server’s stuck in Azure’s storage‑recovery loop, so nothing in the portal can unfreeze it. pls try to use PITR in the portal to bring up a clean server, and if that still fails, support needs to inspect the backend logs.
