Not receiving verification codes

On the 6th of march I received an email from Microsoft Account Team saying they saw some unusual activity in my account in the region/country of Brasil, but I've never been there nor use a VPN. I type my password and I'm redirected to a verification page where I correctly type the last 4 digits of the phone number linked to the account and it either says that such method is not available at the moment or that the code had been sent, but I never receive it, I receive messages from anyone with no problem, except this one. I tried to fill the recovery form but it was proven unsuccessfull, I have had that account for over a decade.

Thanks for your reply. I see you have already tried several steps and I understand the effort you put into this.

Is your phone number still active and able to receive other SMS without issues?

Since SMS has been blocked for this long, it is no longer a temporary delay but a restriction on that verification method. The only supported path is to retry the Microsoft Account Recovery using a familiar device and network, and enter more precise details like past passwords and recent email activity, and if possible, wait at least 24 hours between attempts to improve the result.

Hi, are you trying to receive the code by SMS or through an authenticator app?

Based on account security guidance, when sign in is blocked due to unusual activity, verification methods may be temporarily limited; you need to use the account recovery form at Microsoft Account Recovery from a familiar device and network, enter accurate past details like previous passwords and contacts, and wait for review, since support cannot manually unlock accounts without successful verification, and if SMS is not arriving, select a different available method on the verification page or wait 24 hours before trying again.
