I have a warning playing on my computer thing me my computer is locked up and I need to call Microsoft support

Looks like a tech support scam. Don't act on any info in the message.

Make sure you've ransomware protection enabled.

Hi, it is usually a scam and phishing attempt trying to get you to call that number.

It comes from a browser page pop up. If so, and your PC seems locked, restart it. Check what sites you visited recently and avoid those.

Do not call any number on that warning as Microsoft will never hand out or publish phone numbers that way for you to call them.
