New user cannot see our instance

I have added a guest user via Entra. I have assigned that user Contributor access to a Resource Group. When he logs into the Azure portal with his account, he cannot see our azure instance. When he chooses "switch directory", there is nothing in there. I would expect our azure instance to be there.

The directory does not display because the guest user has not fully redeemed the invitation or is not signed into your tenant context.

To fix the issue, try the below steps:

Check if the user's status is accepted in Entra ID. If the invitation is still pending, send it again and accept it. Request that the user log in using: https://portal.azure.com/TenantID and Verify that the RBAC role has been assigned successfully by signing out and back in.

Guest users must accept the invite and access the correct tenant before it appears under “Switch directory.”
