I have over 2000 emails in my sent folder in the New Outlook App.

I would like to copy allof them at once and put them on my PC desptop.

Is this doable without buying a Microsoft 365 subscription?

    Hi!

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.

Yes, you can export them, but not directly from the New Outlook app, as the New Outlook (the redesigned app) is still lacking in features when it comes to exporting.

The new version of Microsoft Outlook does not support exporting emails to a .pst file, nor does it allow users to download all emails from a folder such as Sent.

The best thing to do right now is to export your Sent emails from Outlook on the web (outlook.live.com or outlook.office.com). You may open Sent items, select emails (checkbox at top -> “Select all”), click PRINT, and there is an option to 'Save as PDF'

This saves emails in batches as PDFs to your desktop

Note: Does not export all at once, so you might have to run multiple batches.

Yes, it is doable without buying a Microsoft 365 subscription, but not directly from New Outlook. New Outlook does not support exporting mail to a .pst file or bulk-saving messages to the file system. To get all sent emails onto the PC, use classic Outlook (desktop) or another mail client that supports export.

    A practical approach is:

    1. Install classic Outlook for Windows (if included with an existing license such as Office Home & Business, Microsoft 365 Personal/Family/Business Standard, or similar). If classic Outlook is not available under any license, use another free email client that supports IMAP and export.
    2. Add the same email account in classic Outlook (or the other client) using IMAP so that the Sent folder syncs.
    3. In classic Outlook, export the mailbox (or just the Sent folder) to a .pst file using File → Open & Export → Import/Export → Export to a file → Outlook Data File (.pst). This creates a single file on the PC that contains all sent messages.
    4. Alternatively, after the account is set up in a client that supports it, select all items in Sent and drag/drop or use Save As/Export features to save them as individual .msg/.eml files to a folder on the desktop.

New Outlook itself cannot import or export .pst files; that capability is in classic Outlook. Importing from or exporting to .pst is not tied to having an active Microsoft 365 subscription as long as there is a valid license for classic Outlook on the device.
