RAISERROR in SSIS execute SQL task

Question

I have a SSIS just to raise error when the comparison failed . however I keep get the RAISEERROR failed with error "result set" property not set correctly.

Please advise.

Hi @lin ,

Please check the input parameter datatype to VARCHAR or NVARCHAR in Parameters Mapping page.

Also you may set BypassPrepare=Flase in Execute SQL Task to see if it could resolve the issue.

raiserror('error', 18, 1) with log

Do you know what this command return?

Error 50000, severity 18 Error

and that as plain info message; what for a result set do you expect? There is none.
