Hey I'm looking for a way to configure separate password for android work profile in Intune,

I was searching in the web for a help i saw this on the Microsoft doc: When a personally-owned work profile is enabled, “One Lock” is configured by default to combine device and work profile passcodes. One Lock may be disabled to separate work profile and device passcodes if necessary, under work profile settings. i was searching how to do it and it seems you cant do it through intune.

i saw another post https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/c6652438-8710-4cb4-954b-983cf2c20644/password-only-for-the-android-work-profile-?forum=microsoftintuneprod from october 2019 hoping its too old but it seems i can conigure password only for the apps anyone know how to do it?

@Porat Arzouan , For the setting "Require Work Profile Password:", it only applies to apps in the personally owned work profile. We can see more details in the following link:

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune/configuration/device-restrictions-android-for-work#personally-owned-devices-with-a-work-profile-settings

I have tested on one device and find.

    1. If one lock is enabled, the work profile and device passcode will be the same one, and has the same requirements for password complex
    2. If one lock is disabled, the passcode will be set different. when the work profile inactivity, we open the apps under work profile, it will prompt for Work Profile passcode
    3. Password profile settings will keep prompting require the device passcode to be set via requirements, while does not enforce password.

Meanwhile, I also research and find currently, there's no option in Intune to disable the one lock. We need to manually disable it on the device. I will try to feedback. Meanwhile, you can also open case to see if we can get more help:

    Thanks for the understanding.
