I had someone working with me. They restarted my computer and then did not call me. They were from microsoft. I am having trouble getting my headphones and mouse to reconnect to blue tooth.

Hi! In addition to the recommendations from the Q&A Assist, try reinstalling the Bluetooth drivers.

    • Before reinstalling, you should test your headset on your smartphone or another device to ensure it is working correctly.
    1. Press Windows + S > Search for "Device Manager" in the search bar > Click on the icon > Expand the "Bluetooth" tab.
    2. Right-click the first Bluetooth device > Select "Uninstall device" > Check "Try to remove this device’s driver" (if any) > Confirm > Repeat this step with all Bluetooth devices in the "Bluetooth" tab.
    3. Restart the computed > Open System Configuration > Click ''Update and security' > ''Windows Update'' > ''Check for updates''.
    4. Download all available updates. Click on the ''Show optional updates'' option (marked in blue) if you have > Select all drivers > Click 'Download and Install'.
    5. Restart the computer > See if the problem persists.
    • If the problem persists, send me the manufacturer and model of your laptop, motherboard or Bluetooth adapter.
    • Press WINDOWS + R > Type "msinfo32" > In System Summary, send me a screenshot.

Try these steps in order on the Windows 11 PC to get the Bluetooth mouse and headphones working again:

    1. Turn Bluetooth off and on
    2. Select Start > Settings > Bluetooth & devices.
    3. Turn Bluetooth Off, wait 10 seconds.
    4. Turn Bluetooth On again.
    5. Check if the mouse and headphones reconnect automatically.
    6. Remove and re-add each Bluetooth device If they show in the list but won’t connect:
    7. Go to Start > Settings > Bluetooth & devices.
    8. Under the device categories (for example, Audio for headphones, Mouse, keyboard, & pen for mouse), select the device.
    9. Select Remove device.
    10. Select Add device (or Add Bluetooth or other device).
    11. Choose Bluetooth, then select the mouse or headphones when they appear and complete pairing.
    12. Check the device battery and pairing mode
    13. Make sure the mouse and headphones are charged or have fresh batteries.
    14. Turn each device off and back on.
    15. Put each device into pairing mode (often a button or switch on the device; follow the manufacturer’s instructions).
    16. Keep the devices close to the PC while pairing.
    17. Check for Windows updates and restart
    18. Select Start > Settings > Windows Update.
    19. Select Check for updates and install any available updates.
    20. When finished, select Start > Power > Restart.
    21. After restart, try pairing the mouse and headphones again.

If Bluetooth still does not work or the icon is missing, use the guidance in Fix Bluetooth problems in Windows for more detailed checks.
