Windows 11 does not include a built-in option to make the Start menu look and behave like the classic Windows 10/Windows 7 style shown in the screenshot.
Only limited Start customization is available under Settings → Personalization → Start (for example, showing more pins or recommendations), but this does not recreate the classic layout with the left-hand app list and right-hand tiles.
To get a Start menu that closely resembles the classic style, a third-party utility such as Open-Shell is required. These tools replace or augment the Windows 11 Start menu and can be configured to mimic older Windows Start layouts.
