Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
Hello,
The reason you are asked “Remember me?” every time is not that the feature is broken. It happens because Microsoft cannot confirm that your browser and device are the same trusted environment as before.
Even though Microsoft changed the sign‑in experience in 2025 so that personal devices can stay signed in more easily, the “Stay signed in?”
prompt will still appear whenever Microsoft needs to re‑validate your session for security reasons.
This happens when something makes your browser look “new” each time, for example:
• Your browser is deleting Microsoft cookies
• A privacy tool, cleaner, or extension resets your session
• You are using InPrivate / Incognito mode
• Your IP address changes frequently (VPN, mobile network, ISP rotation)
• A work/school account is mixed with your personal account
• Your Microsoft account recently required re‑authentication
In these cases Microsoft must ask “Remember me?” again, even on a computer that only you use. Once the browser is able to keep the Microsoft sign‑in cookies and your device appears consistent, the prompt will stop appearing.
