My Microsoft account has been hacked. Someone has put a bogus recovery email on my account. This is the account they send my recovery to. Have tried 3 or 4 times to recover my account to no avail. I would be happy if the account were just deleted at this point. I’m afraid someone will charge something or steal my id. Can’t talk with anyone. I can’t be liable if I can’t recover.

please email or call my number

Hey there! Nice to meet you!

I'm sorry you are experiencing this.

Since the security info has been replaced by the hacker, I'm afraid there is no other working method to recover the Microsoft account, and Microsoft Support cannot help either.

While the account can't be deleted since it can't be accessed, I would recommend reaching out to Microsoft Support, as they can possibly "Suspend" the account permanently once they have confirmed that the account can no longer be recovered in order to prevent the hacker from using it:

    https://support.microsoft.com/home/contact?SourceApp=smc2&ContactUsExperienceEntryPointAssetId=S.HP.SmcContactUsLanding

Type "Microsoft 365 sign-in problem" > Click "Get Help" > Scroll down and select the option "Sign in to contact Support" > Microsoft 365 and Office > Billing and Account Profile Questions > Confirm > then select "Chat with a support agent in your web browser"

Lastly, if you have your payment method linked to your account, please contact your bank immediately to request to block all charges from Microsoft in order to prevent unauthorized purchases.

You may also need to request a new payment method.

    Thank you for your understanding.

    Best regards,

    Darhyl
