Read My Document

I added Read My Document to my Microsoft Word account. It's not working right and I don't like it. How do I get rid of it now completely?

Read My Document is an Office add-in. To remove it completely from Word and other Office apps, uninstall the add-in from Office rather than just hiding it in a single document.

Use these general steps (exact labels can vary slightly by version):

1. Open Word.
2. Go to Insert > My Add-ins (or Get Add-ins / Office Add-ins).
3. In the My Add-ins tab, locate Read My Document (from Birdie, ID WA104379193).
4. Select it, then choose Remove or Manage → Remove to uninstall it from Word.
5. If the add-in also appears in Excel, PowerPoint, or Project, repeat the same steps in those apps to remove it there as well.
