MSN emails

Question

I have always paid for 4 email accounts ending with the msn.com. I need to change the payment method and can't figure out where to do that at. Please help.

I see you pay for MSN emails. MSN emails accounts are free but you may have to pay for them if you need extra storage. Is it the case?

Edit payment information in your Microsoft account

Sign in to your Payment options at account.microsoft.com/billing/payments

Tip: If you can't sign in, see I can't sign in to my Microsoft account.

Find the payment method you want to update, and then select View or edit card.

Enter your updated info, and then select Save.

To change the payment method for MSN email subscriptions that are billed through a Microsoft account, update the payment option on the Microsoft account billing pages.

Follow these steps:

1. Go to the Services & subscriptions page and sign in with the Microsoft account that is paying for the MSN email accounts: https://account.microsoft.com/services/
2. In the list of subscriptions, find the MSN-related subscription for the email accounts.
3. Select Manage next to that subscription.
4. Select Change how you pay.
   • If Change how you pay is not visible, recurring billing may be off and the current term is already paid.
5. Choose an existing payment method, or select Add a new way to pay and follow the instructions to add a new card/bank/PayPal.

If a new payment method is needed on the account first:

1. Go to the Payment options page: https://account.microsoft.com/billing/payments
2. Select Add a new payment method and enter the new card/bank/PayPal details.
3. Return to Services & subscriptions and repeat the Change how you pay steps above to assign this new method to the MSN subscription.

If there are errors when adding a new way to pay, check with the bank or card issuer as suggested in the documentation.
